3. Inspections and Estimates
Thermacore may provide a free insulation inspection and estimate. Any estimate or recommendation is based on information available at the time of inspection and may be subject to change if additional conditions are discovered before or during the work.
An estimate does not necessarily constitute a binding contract unless expressly stated otherwise.
Additional work that falls outside the original scope may require customer approval before proceeding.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing Thermacore with accurate information regarding the property and the requested services.
Customers should disclose known conditions that may affect the work, including known leaks, water damage, structural issues, pest or rodent activity, hazardous materials, accessibility limitations, previous insulation work, or other relevant property conditions.
Customers are also responsible for providing reasonable access to areas where work is scheduled to be performed.
5. Property Access and Site Conditions
Some insulation and related services require access to attics, crawl spaces, walls, ducts, vents, or other areas that may have limited accessibility.
Thermacore will make reasonable efforts to perform work carefully and professionally. However, concealed conditions, pre-existing damage, fragile materials, limited access, or unsafe conditions may affect the work or require changes to the proposed scope.
If Thermacore determines that an area is unsafe or unsuitable for work, the company may postpone, modify, or decline the affected portion of the service until the condition can be appropriately addressed.
6. Pricing and Payment
Pricing, deposits, payment schedules, and other financial terms will be communicated through the applicable estimate, proposal, invoice, or service agreement.
Customers are responsible for paying amounts due according to the agreed payment terms.
Additional services or work outside the approved scope may result in additional charges. Where practical, Thermacore will communicate such changes to the customer before performing additional work.
7. Cancellations and Scheduling
Appointments are scheduled based on availability and may be affected by weather, property conditions, material availability, unforeseen circumstances, or other factors.
Thermacore reserves the right to reschedule an appointment when necessary to protect the safety of customers, employees, contractors, or the property.
Any applicable cancellation, rescheduling, or deposit requirements will be communicated to the customer as part of the applicable service agreement or booking terms.
8. Materials and Installation
Thermacore selects insulation materials and installation methods based on the property’s conditions, project requirements, applicable building considerations, and the agreed scope of work.
Product availability may vary. If a specified product or material becomes unavailable, Thermacore may communicate an appropriate alternative to the customer before installation when a substitution is necessary.
Actual insulation performance may depend on factors beyond the insulation installation itself, including existing construction, ventilation, air leakage, windows, doors, HVAC systems, moisture conditions, and other characteristics of the property.
9. Air Sealing, Energy Efficiency, and Comfort
Thermacore’s services are intended to improve areas such as insulation performance, air leakage, comfort, and energy efficiency.
However, Thermacore does not guarantee a specific reduction in energy bills, utility costs, indoor temperature, heating or cooling usage, or other measurable outcomes unless a specific written guarantee is expressly included in the applicable agreement.
Actual results vary from property to property.
10. Rodent Proofing, Cleaning, and Related Services
Rodent proofing, attic or crawl space cleaning, sanitation, disinfection, and related services are performed according to the scope identified in the applicable estimate or service agreement.
These services may address identified conditions within accessible areas but do not necessarily prevent future pest, rodent, moisture, or contamination issues caused by conditions outside the completed scope of work.
Customers may be advised to address underlying property conditions, openings, plumbing or roof leaks, landscaping, structural issues, or other factors that may contribute to recurring problems.
11. Warranty
Thermacore may provide workmanship or other warranties for qualifying services, subject to the terms and conditions applicable to the specific project.
Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, limitations, and eligibility requirements may vary by service and will be governed by the applicable written warranty or service agreement.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions should be interpreted as creating a warranty beyond what is expressly provided in writing by Thermacore.
